For the Kitchen










Refuse to use plastic cutlery as they are not recyclable (even when they are made from recyclable materials) and most plastic utensils are made of polystyrene, which can release toxic chemicals when heated and make a bad contribution to our environment. Our biodegradable plate, spoon and fork is a great alternatives for parties and to use as general cutlery. Our plates are tree-free and made from reclaimed sugar cane pulp. Our spoons and forks are composed of cornstarch and polypropylene, which is more environmentally friendly than traditional plastic.
Refuse to use plastic straws with your takeaway or dine-in meals. Plastic easily ends up blown down drains and into oceans. It is in the top 10 list of items that is collected in beach cleanups. Our paper straws are biodegradable and provide customers with a hygienic way to enjoy their drinks.
For the Hygiene

Choose soap bars instead of shower gels in plastic bottles. An alternative is to use the Sofeel Earth and Sofeel Luxe soap bars are covered with pleat wrapping instead and the other products in small bottles and packaging are all biodegradable.

As mentioned previously, wipes make their way into the ocean, they get ingested by sea creatures, such as turtles, who mistake them for jellyfish and eventually die. Liv Eco’s sanitiser & disinfectant wipes are made from bamboo cross. Bamboo is a natural fibre that is recyclable and is sustainable. Bamboo is natural enough to fully biodegrade in landfills. Paper towels contribute heavily to deforestation. Our Sofeel multifold paper towels are made from 100% recycled materials and is environmentally friendly. It has superior wet strength and absorbency.
Most garbage bags are made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which is manufactured using non-renewable fossil fuels. However, Livingstone polypropylene garbage bags are the better alternative as they make little to no pollution. Polypropylene consumes the least amount of energy during production and produces the lowest carbon dioxide emissions compared to other plastics.
