Gunawirra is dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers, children, and communities by operating programs that build capacity, confidence, and resilience.
Together, Livingstone and Gunawirra share a commitment to empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and providing opportunities for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to thrive. Gunawirra’s focus on community-led initiatives ensures that their programs are relevant and effective in promoting healing, education, and self-reliance.
Partnership Highlights: Livingstone and Gunawirra
As part of this partnership, Livingstone will donate 1% of all sales from its Duga product range to Gunawirra. These funds will directly support the art therapy program at Jarjum Preschool in Lismore, which provides essential emotional and creative development for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
The art therapy program at Jarjum Preschool uses engaging, hands-on activities to help children express their feelings, connect with their culture, and develop in a supportive environment. The program incorporates techniques such as smooth, repetitive bilateral movements, rhythmic repetition, and nurturing interactions, which enhance sensory awareness and encourage emotional and physical regulation.
During these therapeutic sessions, children enjoy fun activities while learning to focus and participate in tasks designed to help with behavioural self-regulation and fine motor skills, ultimately contributing to improved school readiness. The activities also incorporate local Aboriginal stories, totems, and symbols, reinforcing their cultural connections.

Livingstone has partnered with Dalmarri, a Supply Nation Certified company, to create meaningful artwork for the Duga product range. The artwork reflects our commitment to improving healthcare access for all communities and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Through our collaboration with Dalmarri, we are able to contribute to their movement by providing education and awareness to schools, corporations, and individuals across Australia through art, while creating further employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
